It's All About Clay..
Clay is one of our favourite ingredients.
It is a pure and natural skin care product that has the ability to help eliminate toxins from the skin and repair damaged tissue.
We have 3 types of clay:
Green Clay is the most used of all clays. It can be used on all skin types, but is most suitable for oily or problem skin. Green Clay is the most 'drawing' clay and has powerful cleansing and detoxifying effects on the skin.
Pink Clay is softer on the skin than Green Clay and is used primarily for its toning and firming action on the skin. Pink Clay is often used in body treatments as well as on the face.
White Clay is the most gentle of all the clays and can be used on even the most sensitive skin.
Making Clay Masks
Use approximately 10g of clay (2 teaspoons) and add purified, spring or floral water to make a smooth paste.
This mixture can be used as is but we recommend adding 10 drops of Jojoba Oil to the mixture.
Essential Oils can also be added to make a complete skin treatment (you won't need more than 3 drops).
The mask should be applied to the skin for about 10 minutes and then gently washed off with warm water.
A floral water spray will help soothe and tone the skin after the mask is removed.
Finish by using one of our moisturisers or face oils.
Enjoy the beneficial effects of a clay mask on your face or body no more than once a week.
